Maybe they are cold leads right now and you want to warm them up… You know you can solve their problem but they just don’t seem ready yet…? Annoying…

Lets say you haven’t managed to get a meeting booked yet, so how do you keep the relationship and conversation going on LinkedIn?

If you want to maximise the power of LinkedIn for social selling, try this… Be strategic when sharing content with your prospects/buyers.

But, here’s the thing… Don’t send content too early in the relationship - that’s going to make you look desperate. Instead, wait until you’ve had a brief exchange of messages, so it comes across as genuine and real.

When you find content that’s highly relevant to their business goals, pain points or interests, send it with a personalised message like:

“𝐇𝐢 [𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐞], 𝐈 found 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 [𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜] 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 [𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠].”

Bonus points if you send a voice note or video first and then the content.

LinkedIn is about standing out and going above and beyond. You stay top of mind this way. I progressed several deals from LinkedIn by staying top of mind with my prospect doing this. This is a long game.
