In today's 2-minute read, you will get a 7 step guide to master the art of selling on LinkedIn. Now with this method 3 of my clients generated at least 2 deals in a 30 day timeframe.

1. Define Your Ideal Prospect: Start by clearly defining who your ideal prospect is. Hyper clarity wins.


2. Optimise Your Profile: Before reaching out, ensure your LinkedIn profile is professional and aligns with your sales goals. Your profile should resonate with the pains of the prospects you're targeting.


3. Utilize Advanced Search and Sales Navigator: Leverage LinkedIn's Advanced Search and, if available, Sales Navigator. These tools allow you to filter prospects based on specific criteria. Did I mention Teamlink...get an intro to your prospect from one of your colleagues.


4. Engage Before Connecting: Start engaging with potential prospects before sending a connection request. Comment on their posts, share their content, and participate in relevant discussions. This builds recognition and lays the foundation for a connection.


5. Personalise Connection Requests: When you send a connection request, always include a personalised message. Mention a specific detail from their profile or content to show genuine interest. Avoid this if you're selling to VPs of Sales or C levels, blank work better (my experience).


6. Provide Value in Follow-Up: After connecting, your follow-up message should offer value and a call to conversation. Share an insightful article, a relevant case study, or an invitation to a webinar if selling B2B.


7. Consistently Engage and Nurture: Prospecting is not a one-off task. Consistently engage with your network by sharing fab content, commenting on updates, and participating in relevant group discussions.
