10 Questions to ask DURING your DEMO

It`s the LAST day of the year, so to rev up your demos and get to the truth faster, here are some powerful questions to ask your prospect while you showcase your solution

I got HUNG UP on once on a demo, YIKES, so it drove me to want to serve my prospects the best I can

I covered the START and END of your demo but what about questions DURING your demo?

Usually Sellers breeze through the demo without pausing to stop and asking the prospect what their REAL feedback is.

OR the Seller asks lame questions like “Got any questions?” after each slide. BORING.

The demo is not a dog and pony show, it is where YOU, the Seller, get to see if your solution can give your prospect a better future.

Let`s dive right in:

  1. How are you addressing (ex lead gen/workflow) right now? (this lets your prospect tell you so the demo resonates)

  2. What roadblocks or challenges are you finding when you do (mention the problem)

  3. To what degree do you see this (your solution) being useful for you?

  4. How do you see your team using this?

  5. How does this help clarify things for you compared to what you are currently doing?

  6. To what extent does this click for you? (avoid “does that make sense?) OR Seems like this is not for you, what doesn`t hit for you?

  7. What slide do you want to go back on to ask questions on? (more specific the better!)

  8. Now you`ve seen this, how do you see this solution solving the challenge(s) you mentioned earlier? (tie the solution to the problem - get reconfirmation)

  9. What benefits do you see you`ll get from using what I showed you?

  10. Which aspects of the product really stood out to you?
